Quick tent-planning answers
What size tent do I need for 50 guests?
A 20-by-40-foot tent is often a practical starting point for about 50 seated guests with tables and aisles. Buffets, bars, stages, dance floors, and wider spacing increase the required covered area.
How far in advance should I reserve a tent?
Reserve large tents and peak-season dates 2 to 4 months ahead when possible. Staked rentals require at least two weeks so Virginia 811 utility marking can be scheduled.
What affects the price of a tent rental?
Tent size and style, event surface, anchoring or weights, delivery, setup, lighting, sidewalls, flooring, and travel distance all affect the total. A site-specific quote is the most accurate way to plan.
Tent Rental for Rent
Rent high-peak, pop-up and carnival tents for weddings, backyard parties, company events and community gatherings in Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads. Browse tent sizes and compatible lighting, sidewalls, flooring and weights, then request a quote for your date and location.
Choose a tent for your event
Start with your guest count and how you plan to use the space. Seated dining, standing receptions, buffet tables and a dance floor each need a different layout. Browse our high-peak tents in sizes from 10×10 through 20×80, along with 10×10 pop-up and carnival tents.
Plan the space and setup
Share your event address, setup surface, access details and available space when requesting a quote. The space needed for installation can extend beyond the tent dimensions. Our team can help review the site and discuss whether a site survey is appropriate before confirming the setup.
Complete your tent rental
Explore compatible sidewalls, tent lighting, flooring and weights in the catalog. You can also coordinate table rentals, chair rentals and linens. Ask which accessories suit your tent, site and event layout, and which items are included in your quote.
